Dr Mark Denekamp, a New Zealand graduate, a fellow of the New Zealand college of general practitioners, fellow of the Australasian College of Phlebology (the study of veins) and fellow of the medical faculty of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgeons, began treating veins as a part interest in his family practice. Seeing the good cosmetic results obtained, the relief from discomfort and satisfaction that those treated felt, he expanded his practice to do more of this sort of work. He heads the clinic and performs most of the treatments, with help from other staff in hair removal and therapeutic lasers, microdermabrasion and cellulite treatments. More recently specific personal trainers have been added to benefit people seeking treatment in our more rehabilitation-directed treatments.
